Groundwater

HydroMetrics offers three variants of the GW50™ to meet different groundwater monitoring needs.

  1. The HydroMetrics GW50™ nitrate sensor is designed for installation within a water body or well where regular attendance is possible or the well size is 50mm (2") internal diameter. The measurement cell in this sensor is submerged for scheduled measurements. 
  2. The HydroMetrics GW50PC™ nitrate sensor is designed for installation within a water body or well where regular cleaning is not desirable and the well internal diameter is 55mm (2 3/16"). The measurement cell in this sensor is submerged for scheduled measurements. The Water-Jet™ cleaning system on this sensor can be configured to pump water through the measurement cell on a regular cycle.
  3. The HydroMetrics GW50FC™ nitrate sensor is designed for situations where a suitable bore is not available to install a nitrate sensor. Water can be pumped from the water source and piped directly through the measurement cell in this sensor.
